When we refinanced our house a few years back we uncorked a can of worms. The house was built in 1930 and we had owned it for 30 years but now it was rated in a newly designated flood plain and required flood insurance. The property has three levels and our house is on the largest and highest one. AGC was able to arrange an elevation survey of our property and it was found that a small portion of our Vegetable Garden was located in the flood area. Using the information from the survey we were able to obtain an exception to the flood plain insurance requirement. Although their work is more normally with large projects and firms they were able to help us on this personal level. We found everyone to be very friendly, professional and easy to work with.
