At Lone Mountain Kung Fu we aspire to study Martial Arts as a method of Self Cultivation. Exploring the Martial, Mental, and Philosophical aspects of Kung Fu to develop the individual to the highest degree. We seek to foster "Wu De" or Martial Virtue alongside a strong Martial Spirit. Instruction at Lone Mountain Kung Fu is provided using private lesson formats. One on one instruction assures quality transmission of teachings and instant feedback to the student with full attention being focused on the student's performance and understanding. Training is conducted outdoors close to Nature in the Spirit of Kung Fu. In the Summer, we sweat. In the Winter, we shiver. But we always train and we view the distractions (heat, cold, soreness, fatigue) as an opportunity to test and hone our Martial Spirit.
