Antigenics is a biotechnology company working to develop treatments for cancers, infectious diseases and autoimmune disorders. It employs more than 200 people, and has corporate offices in New York City, and research, development and manufacturing facilities in Lexington, Mass. Founded more than 10 years ago, the company has grown through the acquisition of Aronex Pharmaceuticals, a company with products that treat cancer using novel drug formulations designed to reduce toxicity and increase efficacy, and Aquila Biopharmaceuticals, with products built on an immunology technology platform.
