Martha Wetter is a brilliant, perceptive therapist whose clients adore her. She can be sharp tongued at times, and does not suffer foolishlessness or goofing off, but she genuinely cares about her clients and wants to see them recover. She is one of the few therapists I have ever met who is so accessable she publishes her home address and phone number and gives her cell number to her clients for emergencies. That is highly unique in this business. She also takes on clients that other therapists do not really want to deal with, and turns them around. As I said, she can be brusque and occasionally downright abrasive, but it is in the service of caring and wanting the client to take a good hard look at themselves. Martha is completely one of a kind.
