Went there for a take away. Workers were very friendly. But I felt like the cooks were amateur. We got ckicken curry, lamb korma and malai kofta as main dishes. Malai korma sucked big time. It was cooked in a creamy tomato sauce. It did not have cashews at all. I have worked in Indian Resturants. And I know how the traditional Indian food tastes. If you are a fan of traditional Indian food. Please dont go.

Dirty, cheap food not good for a date, it was embarrassing to take my girl here. A lot of cheap fast food, not pleasant.

I HAVE EATEN IN SEVERAL RESTAURANTS BUT THIS IS THE BEST!!! MY FAVORITE DISH IS THE MIXED VEGETABLES AND THE BUFFET IS EXCELLENT - SO IS THE PRICE (ONLY $5.99)!! THE SERVICE IS WONDERFUL AND EVERYONE IS FRIENDLY!! IT IS DEFINITELY MY NUMBER ONE FAVORITE INDIAN RESTAURANT IN LEXINGTON!! DEFINITELY A 5 STAR RESTAURANT. My girlfriend and I came here for a Valentine's dinner this year and we both fell in love with the place. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I love spicy food, but even their medium spices are a lot for me to handle. The wait staff was wonderful, remember my girlfriend and I when I returned to pick up some take-out a few weeks late

The selections today included Saag, Tikka Masala (both paneer and chicken available), Dal Makhani, Chicken Curry, Tandoori Chicken, various crispy Vegetable Pakoras, Samosas, and Naan. There is also a dessert and chutney bar. All of the entrees that we sampled today were delicious. The star of this meal, though, came from the dessert bar -- Coconut Ice Cream. This sweet and creamy offering was the perfect ending to a savory Indian lunch.

Myself, my fiancé and 12 year old step-daughter were looking for an Indian meal and happened across this restaurant close to our hotel on Richmond Road Lexington KY



We were only looking for a main course meal as we had eaten too much all day. We were pleasantly surprised by our amuse bouche prior to our meal – a good Vegetable Pakora with an interesting Tamarind Sauce . This was followed by some poppadoms with great Onion Chutney – one of which was very hot indeed! And all of this complimentary too.



Our main meals were excellent and they were kind enough to make a special order for my spice-shy step-daughter. To cleanse our palate at the end of the meal we had complimentary sorbet which I thoroughly enjoyed but my dining companions were not so sure of.



Overall this was a good restaurant with an excellent selection of Indian cuisine with wonderful complimentary touches and friendly service.

It is my favorite restaurant since I moved to Lexington 6 month ago. After shopping along the strip we go to Taj India Indian Restaurant have its scrumptious food which was always reasonable for me and my friends. My kid’s favorite place too, they love chicken tikka masala, Lamb Masala , Lamb Rogan Josh . It is very reasonable price It is always crowded on weekends which show its popularity. I rate it the best India restaurant I ever had with its excellent service.
