The owners Johhny and Lisa are so wonderful and accommodating. As many have found out their food is very good and consistent, not to mention the healthy portions they offer.It is a small and quaint restaurant with outside dining for a couple of tables. And best of all they serve PBR in the huge 24 OZ can that has become iconic as well as their establishment. For quality food, freindly quick service this ones hard to beat.

I've eaten at Bistro 147 twice while passing through Lexington. What a great little restaurant. The entrees are well prepared and tasty. The atmosphere is quaint and romantic. This is also a great value. The owner has a special that includes two full dinners and a bottle of wine for $45.00. You certainly can't beat that given the quality of the food.The crab and scallop stuffed sole in butter sauce is dreamy. The crab cakes are also well prepared. On my last visit, I had the seafood crepes with mornay sauce. Delightful. The only downside is that they don't serve hard liquor. That's not a real problem. Just have a cocktail before you get there. I can't wait for my next visit to Lexington for another fine dinner at Bistro 147.

Quaint and intimate atmosphere. Good food. Good service. I have gone back several times since it opened and the service and food are consistent-excellent. Lovely for a romantic dinner before taking in a show downtown.
