I have been run around many times by boat service people with estimates varying across the board shaddy practices. I called and spoke with John regarding an issue I was having with my stern drive. He told me what he recommended and what he thought it was and provided a fair price over the phone. Brought my boat in for the work in the morning and got a call in the afternoon telling me it was completed. Fixed the same day with quality workmanship and knowledge. Butch the technician explained what they would be doing and even provided a recap of what he found during the repair after the service. No BS here. Highly recommend.

Took my donzi that needed a new starter and was very pleased with their shop and expertise. Fair prices (cheaper than most) and delivered excellent results on time. Also took their time to explain what was needed to repair boat correctly. No pressure and no up selling. Friendly fun professional folks. Changed my whole perception of lake people mechanics. Highly recommend them.

I am always skeptical when dealing with boat mechanics but this shop is very unique and outstanding. They were professional but also personable and took the time to explain why I did or did not need certain items or service. Best of all, they were finished ahead of time, even in the height of summer season on a weekend! They are definitely the best.

I had read previous reviews on here about Big Daddy's Boat repair and was weary to take my crownline 260 here for repair. I dropped the boat off on Wed at 4:30 before the Memorial Day weekend. No other boat shop would even look at the boat before the holiday weekend. Jon worked on the boat till 9:00 pm to identify the issue with the engine. Jon made several promises on other boats before the weekend but was still able to finish up service on my boat as well. I received a call at 9:00 pm on Friday evening to let me know the boat was done. I picked up the boat on Saturday morning and the cost was $100 below the estimate given. Total repair cost was under $500 which I was very happy with. Great work Jon and team!!!

We went to Big Daddy's after breaking down on the lake. He took our boat in on Memorial Day weekend on extremely short notice. He personally took me down to one of the local parts stores to get the right part for our boat and then fixed it right up in no time. He pointed out some other potential issues and sent us on our way to enjoy the rest of our weekend. We'll be using these guys from now on for anything with our boat. They're a testament to local businesses everywhere and should be commended for their superior service.

Had a huge emergency with our pontoon boats. 30 family members coming in town for a family reunion and boats had engine and other wiring problems. We went to two boat shops before finding Big Daddys Boat repair and thank goodness we did. He said the other two companies were charging us way too much and were trying to get us to pay for things that didnt need repair. John had our pontoon boats fixed at a good price with a turn around time of just a few days and in time for our family reunion on the lake! God bless you John and Brian for making this nightmare of ours go away. We have already recommend you to our friends and family.

Recently had my boat worked on and they did what they said they would do at the price they quoted. Additionally, they went the extra mile when the issue with my trailer lights ended up being with my truck.
