Elmet Technologies, founded in 1929, is a manufacturer of molybdenum- and tungsten-based mill products. It provides wire and lighting products to serve the electronics, medical, semiconductor, energy, aerospace, automotive and thin film coating manufacturing industries. The company works to improve performance and material durability and reduce operation costs. It offers wire, rod, sheet, plate and pressed and sintered parts, as well as precision-machined and fabricated components to meet customers drawings and specifications. Elmet Technologies employs more than 200 people and has manufacturing facilities that are spread over an area of nearly 220,000 square feet. Additionally, its products include sintering boats, fluorescent lamps, furnace hot zones and shields, cathode and evaporation coils, and mandrel and support wires.
