- Emergency CareIf you have a serious medical problem and are seen in the emergency room, the hospital emergency room doctors are well-trained and able to perform appropriate initial care. They will make a referral to Lewiston Orthopedics' office for follow-up care if you choose a specialist in our practice. If the orthopedic injury is complicated or severe, we are available and will respond to the emergency room doctor’s request.

He is happy to be back in the valley and is currently involved in team coverage with Lewis-Clark State College and Lewiston High School. He appreciates all aspects of orthopedic surgery but has a particular interest in sports medicine, including advanced arthroscopic techniques in the shoulder, knee, hip, and ankle. He performs all-inside anterior cruciate and posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, arthroscopic rotator cuff and labral repairs, and advanced hip arthroscopy. Dr. Jelinek also specializes in cartilage restoration, cartilage transplants, meniscal transplants, fracture management, and joint reconstruction, including partial knee replacement, total knee replacement, hip replacement, and shoulder replacement.

- Sports MedicineA native of Clarkston, Dr. Adam Jelinek attended Carroll College in Helena, Montana, prior to receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Following his residency, Dr. Jelinek completed a fellowship in sports medicine with Methodist Sports Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. During his fellowship, he provided team coverage for local high schools, Indiana State University, and the Indianapolis Colts professional football team.
