College of Southern Maryland offers more than 100 academic programs, including various associate degrees, certificates and letters of recognition. Based in Leonardtown, Md., the college operates through general studies, biological/physical sciences, business/technology, health sciences and languages/literature divisions. It offers programs in American studies, graphic design, history, philosophy, speech communication, music and theatre/dance. College of Southern Maryland also prepares students to work in medical diagnostics, nursing, massage therapy, dental hygiene and radiography. Its student services include online tutoring, writing center, job connection and academic advising.
