This is a slick guy and he took advantage of my being a frazzled layperson who just wanted the heating maintained and the leaking faucets fixed. He did a crappy, unfinished job (loose assemblies) and left the emergency switch on. Said to change thermostat batteries (baloney) when the heat didn't go on I called them back. He accused me of turning off the switch and charged me the service fee. I didn't even look at the receipt when I signed it. Later I saw he wrote his lie there! What a sneak! He is EVIL! But I guess I am stupid. I was too easily led. Any that's the end of my doing business with Tuttle Plumbing, who, by the way, is affiliated to McNulty and Bedard.
Tuttle Heating has been sold to Bedard McNulty. They represent themselves as separate companies but they aren't After ten years of being a customer at Tuttle, I will never use them again. Our compressor pump for hot water failed one week after our annual service. It had rusted out. The technician said nothing. Apparently he hadn't noticed the problem and we were left without radiator heat. I called repeatedly for service on a weekend. First, their phone lines at the answering service didn't work. Then the technicians weren't on duty. Then the owner left for personal business. Ultimately, no one was available for 36 hours. I was lucky the pipes in my house didn't freeze.
