Valerie Moore charges $100 for an “initial consultation” in which all she does is explain her fees. She charges $350 per hour, and demands a $2500 retainer up front. Regardless of how little work she does, you can assume Valerie Moore will take the entire $2500 retainer. She gave misleading and incorrect legal advice to obtain more work which was never done, but she billed for it. I complained to the Kansas Bar but they say they do not regulate such matters. Valerie Moore is one of the least professional and least trustworthy attorneys in practice today.
