Awesome, we love it.. for us is the best restaurant in this area.
Been to Many steakhouse restaurants and this is definitely one of my favorites. This is for sure the best hidden secret in the central valley. The service is beautiful, the food is amazing and Very fresh tasting, the price is The absolute best anywhere I've ever seen. An abundance and variety of Great food and awesome service... anyone with high standards for exceptionally good will know exactly what im talking about.
Disgusting! Please save your money and go somewhere else. Normally, I don't write reviews, but this place was THAT bad. Please google this restaurant and read the report done by the health department. My husband and I decided to try Ethel Red's. Upon walking in, I noticed the "Specials" sign. Usually when I go into restaurants and see a "specials" sign, that meal is usually at a reduced rate. Not at Ethel Red's. We ordered a steak and lobster meal which which was horrible! I never have any issues with steak houses, but with this meal, the vegetables were not steamed (they were very hard), the garlic mashed potatoes were disgusging (in another review, somebody also commented on the yucky garlic potatoes lol), the steak wasn't trimmed so there was sooo much fat that I had to trim off myself. This ended up being a $49.99 unimpressive meal! Not only that, with the other meal we ordered, my chicken was undercooked and overly seasoned. I spent that night throwing up. For the salad, this places uses iceberg lettuce which was a disappointment since this was such an expensive restaurant. I wasn't impressed with the chili and bread. The bread was very hard. The dishes weren't very clean. There were black specks of something in two of the cups I had. I had to send them back. The sodas are $2.99 by the way, which isn't unheard of being a steak house but thought you might want to know that. Overall, I will never walk into that restaurant again, and I plan on contacting the health department.
The place was wonderful! Once I arrived I was greeted with a warm smile and was seated right away. Once I got to my table we got some wonderful beans and biscuits. They were awesome!!! After that my friends and I ordered some avocado rolls and we got them within five minutes. I had a top sirloin and lobster. It was cooked to perfection!! The lobster was perfect. I'm defiantly coming back :) Did i mention an awesome live band??
My family and I ate at Ethel Red Chop House tonight for dinner and it was packed! For as busy at it was (every table filled and several large parties) they just didn't have enough servers. We were seated right away, around 6:15 PM and didn't get our food until 7:35 and everything was COLD and over done, I imagine from sitting under the warmer too long. We ordered steaks medium rare and got them well done, port chops that were dry and hard to swallow and ribs that were a little tough but good flavor. I know this is a new place and not many steak houses around this area so I'm sure that they were a little over whelmed and just didn't have the servers they needed. I will definately give them another chance and hope for better service and get the food the way we ordered it.
We are the Rivas family from hanford, Ca. We decided to try the NEW PLACE. Six of us went on Saturday night. The place was filled to the brim which is a good sign. We did have a wait of 30 minutes. And we were advised of this upon arriveing which we thought was very polite. Once we were seated the service was fantastic. The staff was courteous and helpful. Our appetizers came quickly and were very good. Our entress were served hot and just the way we ordered. We are thankful to have a clean and good restaurant with a gret atmosphere here in Kings Co. Like any new place there are bugs to work out, but they are off to a great start! We wish you the best of luck Ethel Reds!! See you again soon.

All the food is delicious and the plate is full is huge we can't ate all we took home the atmosphere is fabulous you can feel more than home
its the best in the whole area i recommend it to everybody who is looking
for delicious meal with nice atmosphere .
