Batesburg Elementary School, located in Leesville, S.C., offers a curriculum for the students in grades three through five. It is operated by the Lexington County School District. The school offers its services to more then 450 students under enrollment. It has a wide range of subjects that include English, language arts, literature, mathematics, evaluations, social studies, history, geography and science. In addition, the school provides special education, music, fine arts and computer application, and heath and physical education classes. The campus has a fully equipped library and media center providing resource materials to the students. The school also provides transportation service in collaboration with the school district s transportation department. Batesburg Elementary School has a parent-teacher organization that supports and bridges the community and school through reading programs at home after school.
