Founded in 1943, Crider & Shockey offers ready-mix concrete and is a part of The Shockey Companies, which also owns Howard Shockey & Sons, and The Shockey Precast Group. Crider & Shockey operates more than 10 modern computerized concrete facilities and employs over 150 personnel. It offers a range of value-added products, including high- and mid-range water reducing admixtures, accelerators, retarders and corrosion inhibitors. The company also sells fibers that are used in a variety of applications, such as residential slabs, parking areas and golf cart paths, as well as commercial and industrial slabs.
