Better Life Behavioral Services of Central Florida provides in-home and center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with and without disabilities. We are currently serving Lake and Sumter counties in Florida. Initially, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst will conduct an assessment to determine what treatment is necessary. A plan will be written to address concerns of behavioral excesses and behavioral deficits. ABA is a behavioral health treatment that is based on the science of behavior and learning. Treatment is individualized and data-driven to ensure that the plan is effective. Additionally, Better Life Behavioral Services of Central Florida will train parents and caregivers how to implement the plan for behavioral improvement to maximize treatment efficacy. Through scientific study, ABA has been effective in treating and helping individuals of all ages and of all levels of functioning achieve behavioral improvement. ABA has proven to be an effective treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other Developmental Disabilities. It has also shown effectiveness with various other populations, including children who do not have any developmental delays or disabilities. Better Life Behavioral Services of Central Florida can help with improvements in the following behaviors: communication, social skills, self-care skills, toileting skills, and many more. We can also help with improvements in maladaptive or dangerous behaviors such as aggression, self-injury, property destruction, and elopement.
