      General Info
      Pleasant Lea Elementary enrolls students in grades kindergarten through six. It offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes speech, reading, English as a second language, special education, mathematics, music and art. The school has a parent-teacher association that increases awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development by enhancing communication between home and school. The school is affiliated with the Lee's Summit School District. Its library media center is an instructional support center for the students and staff to increase students reading skills and to improve their abilities to use technology and books. Its guidance and counseling department counsels students in their educational development. Additionally, it provides meal services to the students. The school is located in Lee's Summit, Mo.
