      DETAILS
      General Info
      I have a clean, smoke-free home in a quiet neighborhood. I provide child care for infants (0-12 mo), toddlers (1-3 yrs), preschoolers (4-5 yrs), and school-age (6+) kids. Standard daycare hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm. Extended hours may be negotiable. During these hours I provide breakfast, lunch, drinks (water or milk), and 2 snacks. Dinner may be provided if it has been prearranged. For infants, milk/formula must be provided by the parent. I encourage children to eat, but do not force them. If your child does not eat or eats very little, I will let you know. Throughout the day, we listen (and dance!) to lots of fun, educational, and kid-friendly music. We have circle time in the morning where we read stories, do manipulation activities, arts and crafts, and learning activities. We have a nap/quiet time everyday. Children under 1 year will have a morning and afternoon nap and all other children will have afternoon nap/quiet time. And, we can't forget about free play! Free play is important because it allows children to let loose, build and use their imagination, and to express themselves. Afterall, children learn and grow best through play. Manners and hygiene are taught and exemplified. Children interacting with others are taught to share and ecouraged to use "please", "thank you", "you're welcome", etc. Cleanliness is taught by encouraging and helping children clean up during and after meals and messy play. More than anything, I provide YOU, the parent, peace of mind knowing that your child is safe, loved, well taken care of, and having fun!
