- The Lee's Summit History Museum is dedicated to preserving the community's rich cultural heritage. View artifacts on: the city founder William B. Howard's family, Cole Younger and family, the Border War, jazz musician Pat Metheny's family, Longview Farm, along with displays on other area farms and businesses. Admission is $5.00 for adults and children 13 and under are free. There is no entrance fee for Historical Society of Lee's Summit members. Our gift shop has a nice selection of history books, DVDs, souvenirs and self guided walking tour booklets.
