Kidding Around in Lees Summit near 50 Highway is an awesome place. My 2 year old has learned a lot here from sign language to how to do art projects. The staff is great and are very nice. The only problem is the management team. They can't get there financial side of the daycare together. My only advice is to whom it may concern is to make sure that they do not change your contract randomly and to also keep your checks accounted for. They have said they we owed them money because we have not paid and out bank records show otherwise. I hope this helps

Had a horrible experience at Kidding Around 2. I would not suggest this "so-called daycare" to any child. It is dirty, child comes home dirty, the "teachers" never take into considerations the child or the parent's requests, and the director could really care less about the children under her care. I wish I would have left sooner!! However, if you want your child eating overly processed food, playing in dirt, getting hurt every other day if not every day, being in a room that is regularly out of ratio, then maybe this is the place for you, otherwise please keep looking and never look back. Steer clear of Kidding Around 2!!! They should not even have their doors open in my opinion.

As another former employee, I can promise that this is not a good business. As said above, there are MANY loving, compassionate teachers. The problem is that management REFUSES to fire any incompetent teachers even after coworker AND parent complaints. Your children are well taken care of and I know that is of the utmost importance. But why settle for a place where YOU as a parent are not taken care of? I urge you to find a place where both you AND your child are respected and truly cared for. A place that lets teachers be teachers and doesn't make them be mediators and messengers. A place that will talk to you face to face when there is a problem and a place that cares what is going on in your family's life. Again- teachers: excellent. Managers: horrible.

our child has been going here for 2 years, i'm only submitting this because i was looking up their phone number on google and saw the one star review. we've never had a problem with kidding around, the teachers care, don't know what they're talking about on the revolving door of teachers, he's never had a teacher change in any of his classes. our child enjoys going there.

I have been taking my two kids to this location for almost two years and have never had a problem, also have never heard of the people mentioned in the above post.
