Hazel Grove Elementary School, founded in 1940, offers education to more than 400 students in grades kindergarten through six. It offers subjects that include science, mathematics, history, special education, family environment, social studies and humanities. The school also provides training in spelling, reading, writing and problem solving. The sports activities offered by the school include athletics, wrestling, basketball, tennis, baseball, soccer and football. The school also provides a variety of extracurricular activities, such as arts and crafts, dancing, fitness classes, physical activities, teamwork and cooperation. Its outdoor activities include hiking, backpacking, fishing, camping, canoeing and cycling. Hazel Grove Elementary School offers a wide range of services, including medical assistance and academic tutoring.
