Amar Patel, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in trauma and foot and ankle surgery at Rockhill Orthopaedic Specialists. Dr Patel’s decision to become an orthopedic surgeon was easy, given orthopedic surgery’s mix of biomechanics and anatomy, along with each patient's individual attributes. This combination makes every patient's case truly individual and unique. Orthopedic surgery allows a physician to work with both their hands and their mind. Dr Patel enjoys treating patients with orthopedic traumatic injuries, as well as patients with foot and ankle conditions. Both specialties require the ability of the clinician to treat patients, keeping short and long-term goals in mind.
