Founded in 1989, Kiski Area Intermediate School is located in Leechburg, Pa. The school serves more than 670 students in grades seven and eight. It features a library, gymnasium, cafeteria and multipurpose room. It provides special education classes for gifted and talented students. Kiski Area Intermediate School operates a band, choir and student council. The school conducts classes in English, math, science and social studies. It also offers a Spanish language course. The school operates fitness, guitar, ski and peer tutoring clubs. It supports a variety of sports activities, such as basketball, football, soccer, wrestling, cross country, and track and field. In addition, the school offers a range of activities that includes art, music and physical education. Kiski Area Intermediate School is a part of the Kiski Area School District.
