Founded in 1966, Linn-Benton Community College operates as a two-year public college that serves the residents of Linn and Benton counties. It provides educational courses, such as general education, professional technical training, lower-division college transfer, continuing education classes, lifelong learning opportunities and distance education, to name a few. In addition, it provides adult basic education programs and various education programs for students with disabilities. Linn-Benton Community College has received accreditation from the Accrediting Commission of the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges.
