Crooks liars and thieves most hateful experience I've ever had renting a home. They have a reputation of being hateful condescending crooked thieves don't rent from them

I spoke to Laurie in the Lebanon office today. She was rude and disrespectful, as well as incompetent. I called regarding a property which specifically stated that two cats lived on the property and there was no further mention of any restrictions on pets. I loved the house but was told that they would not even consider me because I have a cat. The owners 2 cats still live on the property but having a cat was not acceptable to rent the house. I am stunned this Realtor is going against the best interests of her client by not even discussing an animal, or at the very least fixing their listing to reflect that no animals will be accepted on the property. They just missed out on a great tenant because of Laurie's rudeness and crude demeanor. If you own property and are looking for a manager look carefully and make sure this manager takes your best interests in to account, getting a good tenant and getting your house rented. If you are a renter beware this woman is unprofessional.

I have rented through this company for I believe nearly two years now. The apartments I live in were sold to a new landlord who manages through them. I had previously written a review in which I listed several issues I have had with them, including a very long delay in fixing certain issues, in which I also listed the name of the manager of the opperation, Kathy Kilborn.

I took down said review when, after taking in my rent one day, I was verbally attacked by Ms. Kilborn over my review. She raised her voice and encroached upon my personal space, talking over me in an angry fashion as I tried to explain myself to her, refusing to listen to reason. Her coworkers and employees gathered around, watching this middle-aged "manager" tear down a 23-year-old resident for saying a few negative words in an honest review. She demanded that I leave, and I did so in tears, thoroughly embarassed and shaken into an anxiety attack by her manner of confrontation.

When I went in a few days later in hopes to sit down with her privately to get the issues worked out - I didn't want to leave any bad blood, regardless of how disrespectful I felt she had been towards me in shouting at me in front of everybody instead of pulling me aside for a calm and collected private meeting - I was told that she was too busy to talk to me. I then asked the woman at the desk (who is still kind to me, whether she likes me or not, and I thank her for doing that part of her job well) to tell Kathy to call me back when she was ready to talk to me in private, because I'd rather not live in fear of the woman who controls the place I call home.

I did make a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau, but her response was, boiled down, that I made the whole thing up.

It has now been two months, and I have yet to hear back from her. The manner in which she conducts her business is rude, unprofessional, and in my opinion, childish.

I do not recommend that anybody ever rent through Heritage NW in Lebanon unless they'd like to be made to feel like chattel and treated without respect or compassion.

Anyone in Lebanon: Do not rent from Heritage NW (Lebanon office). They are dishonest and overcharge for literally everything. If you do, get everything in writing and still expect to be charged a ridiculous amount of money, even if the place is perfectly clean. I've dealt with professionals before and they are the furthest thing from professionals. Save yourself some money and headaches if you re looking to rent from their office and look elsewhere.
