We have been going to Great Brook Animal Care and Doctors Holbrook and Bizier since we moved here 6 years ago.We found them because the people we bought our house from (they had 4 Retrievers) gave a glowing recommendation. Our Corgie friends are like family and that is how they are treated by these very amazing and caring doctors. Even when our animals growl and bark and carry on for something as simple as a nail trim, they are still treated with patience and respect. This last week when we had the 8 yr old in for a much needed teeth cleaning, and her blood tests that they do before surgery were abnormal, and Dr Holbrook called me immediately and said no to her having any teeth cleaning surgery. It was alarming but Dr Holbrook explained her condition and helped put my worries to rest. And costs? Well, you get what you pay for, and we could not get tests and procedures for ourselves for as little as these doctors charge for their services. And we never doubt that our animals get anything but the best care from Great Brook.

I will NEVER send my animals there again! I found out that they are abusive when the owners are NOT there, and secondly, they double charged me and later I found out other people have these issues too!!!! I agreed to doing a series of voluntary disease prevention shots for my animals under the verbal AGREEMENT that when I come in with these pets in a couple weeks, that I would NOT have another office charge... WELL not only did they charge another office visit PER ANIMAL, they charged another exam.... We got these animals from the SPCA and I was so disturbed by the treatment of this animal medical office that I will go back to my original vet 30 mins away rather than this one around the corner! Also found out that some of these vets were fined for animal abuse!!!!!!
