- Emergency CareWe believe visitation plays an important role in the well-being of our patients, and we welcome visitors to Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute between the hours of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily (please see our Urgent Care section for hours pertaining to that department). To maintain a peaceful, healing environment, we ask that all visitors depart the hospital by 9 p.m. Please also avoid visitation at times that may disturb the patient’s rest or interrupt the patient’s physical therapy sessions.
