The Great Plains Economic Development Center works for the development of high performance organizations. The center conducts educational training sessions for the success of businesses and industries in Oklahoma. It organizes safety training sessions for the prevention of workplace injuries and illnesses. The Great Plains Economic Development Center and a network of business and industry service centers offer human resources and training professional a variety of assessment tools for the professional development of an incumbent workforce and screening and selection of new employees. The center also conducts leadership and soft skills training sessions.
