General Info

Dr. Patel was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. Dr. Patel received his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular MRI in the Department of Radiology and served on the faculty at Emory University. Dr. Patel is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiovascular CT. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Patel’s special interests include preventive cardiology and management of advanced cardiac disease. He is trained in cardiovascular MRI and CT, transesophageal and stress echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac catheterization. Dr. Patel cares for patients at our Lawrenceville and Johns Creek offices.
