Located in Lawrenceville, Ga., Craig Elementary School has reading, language arts, science, art, math, social studies, music and physical education departments. The school serves students in prekindergarten through grade five. It provides a variety of special education and gifted and talented programs. The school employs counselors, speech therapists, and media, math and reading specialists. Its parent-teacher association develops programs, events, activities and forums for parents, teachers and students. The school has a media center that provides curriculum-related materials, storybooks, encyclopedias and picture dictionaries. Craig Elementary School offers several extracurricular programs, such as a student council, beta club, chorus and weekly news show. The school is a part of Gwinnett County Public Schools.
