Metro Employee Assistance Services, also known as MEAS, is an off-site employee assistance program offered by the Mercer Council on Alcoholism and Drug Addiction. It provides short-term, counseling and case management services to more than 30 employers in Mercer County, N.J. Metro Employee Assistance Services offers solutions for various issues, such as substance abuse and dependence, mental health, family and marital problems, bereavement and job performance. It also works closely with organizations in providing training to employees and management. Metro Employee Assistance Services conducts employee orientations and management programs. It provides prevention, education, and assessment and referral for the victims of alcohol and drug abuse. Metro Employee Assistance Services maintains one of its offices in Trenton, N.J.
