Re: Adrianne - After 10 years of being her client in Olathe, Overland Park, and following her to Lawrence Adrianne ignored requests for haircuts until I text her multiple times. I She didn't want phone calls. I should have known right then and there that client loyalty means absolutely NOTHING. When she finally answered me, I got an appt with her 2 1/2 weeks ahead of time. I confirmed the day and time for the appt 24 hours in advance. She texted me back that we were on for 1:00 on July 19th as we had agreed to on July 1st. She did not change the time - she confirmed it as 1:00..... so I drove to Lawrence from Olathe. Arriving in Lawrence 20 minutes ahead of time, I started to text my spouse a message letting him know I'd arrived at the salon and then saw the message from Adrianne. She had text me AFTER I was already on the road to Lawrence stating she wanted to postpone my appointment 30 minutes. I answered that I was already in Lawrence and that I would wait - thinking that she was just running a little behind. Well .... I walked in 10 minutes BEFORE my changed appt. - this was at 1:20 - and lo and behold here is Adrianne putting color on a client then proceeds to do a haircut and style and makes me wait until 2 p.m before she was finished with that client. Meaning that this other client got MY original appt time!!!!! I was ONE HOUR past my original appointment time when she finally came to get me. I should have just walked out right then and there - I was angry and she knew it. I proceeded to show her a photo of the haircut she'd done back in 2012 for me and said I wanted to go back to that style. She said "I cut that?" Well, of course she did - I've been with her since 2007. I didn't watch her as I have always trusted her.... boy! what a let down! Well, if all the delayed appt wasn't enough THEN she didn't cut my hair as requested in lots of layers as she used to. She offered to take $10 off of my bill because I had to wait on her .... I already had the check made out and she said ok, the NEXT time I'll knock off $10.... Well, there won't be a next time! I should have had the appointment I originally set up but greed and the "younger crowd" reigns. I was so angry that I just paid and left. After I got home, shampooed my hair I found she had NOT cut the layers or face framing that I'd asked for. A few days later I went to a stylist in Olathe by recommendation of a friend here to get it corrected. After TEN YEARS of trusting, loving Adrianne and following her to three different shops, she's gotten an attitude so never again will I go back to her. I am so disappointed as she used to do exactly what I wanted. Apparently, those of us who don't have coloring etc. don't count as good clients - even after 10 years of loyalty and driving out to Lawrence. Greed and attitude.... NOT a good way to treat a long-time client.
