I've had ATSI replace/rebuild transmissions in 2 of my vehicles, and although replacing a transmission is not cheap, their price was very fair compared to some other shops that I got quotes from. However, what I liked the best about ATSI, is that they only use high quality replacement parts, and totally stand behind all the work they do. If they worked on it or fixed it, you know it's going to work when you pickup your vehicle.

Took my car to have the heater core replaced only to be informed of other issues that needed to be repaired asap. One example is that I was informed my hoses to the heater core were damaged so much that they were loosing as much if not more water than the heater core, and that it all had to be replaced for a ridiculous amount of money, over a thousand dollars for a $45 heater core, two $20 hoses, and labor, you do the math. I decided to do the work myself and found that not only were the hoses not leaking, they were both perfectly fine as they had been replaced only a year ago! I'm not sure if someone just doesn't know what they were inspecting or if I was intentionally lied to (this being a college-town, and they thought they could get away with it), but I'm never taking my vehicle there again, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone unless you just have loads of money to spend for un-needed repairs.
