Founded In 1967, Burns High School is operated by the Cleveland County Schools and offers enrollment to more than 1,000 students in grades nine through 12. It also offers participation in a wide range of activity clubs and organizations, including band, choir, chorus, drama, stage crew, student council, National Honor Society, class council and cheerleading. Burns High School offers various games and sports, such as soccer, basketball, track, tennis, softball, baseball, golf, volleyball, swimming and cross country. The school s curriculum includes classes in English, math, music, science, foreign languages and social studies. Burns High School is located in Lawndale, N.C.
