I don't ever blast a business online but I need everyone to know this is the worst bank I have ever seen. I was an account holder for 15 years and didn't want to change because I liked the tellers and didn't want to move assets and change all my online account info, but I just cant deal with this level of unprofessionalism. They turn off my debit card at least 7 times a year without warning or notification and snail mail me a new one because they get hacked all the time. They have my phone number and email and refuse to send an email that my account is compromised. I am out-of-state in school, so I had no access to thousands of dollars and had to drive to Georgia to fix it. Repeatedly they let members of my family access my account and move money without my consent. I understand it is a small town bank, but that is no reason to refuse to send emails and let individuals who don't even use that bank access my funds. They got a new teller who has been consistently unprofessional and twice when I got my check cashed it was off by 100$. They routinely hold deposits two days and then charge as many fees as possible. For example, deposited my paycheck for 600$ on Friday morning. By Monday, the check deposit was still not in and they said I owed them $150 in overdraft charges from weekend purchases. When I showed them documentation to prove my deposit was made in time, the branch manager still refused to remove the charges. They are also closed on Wednesdays which has always been an inconvenience. I would never recommend this bank to anyone!!!!!

I love Northeast GA Bank. When a big name bank wouldn't give me a loan, NE GA Bank said yes. Everyone is so friendly. They always have a smile when I do my banking. If you are new to the area think about banking with Northeast GA Bank.
