General Info

With native roots in Southern California, Dr. Mark Evans grew up watching his dad change lives as an endodontist. Seeing how his father was able to help others love their smiles and live healthier lives, Dr. Evans was inspired to become a dentist. ‍ Dr. Evans attended Brigham Young University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He later served a 2 year church service mission to Peru, where he learned to speak Spanish fluently. Afterwards, Dr. Evans achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. From 2013 - 2017, Dr. Evans served as an Army Dentist at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas. After the Army, he moved to Laveen, Arizona, where he and his wife fell in love with the community. With corporate dental offices abound in the area, Dr. Evans wanted to offer a local alternative, where patients could truly feel known and cared for. At Laveen Smiles, Dr. Evans is providing top-notch care with heart, and creating positive, personalized dental experiences for his neighbors and friends. ‍ As a life enthusiast, you can find Dr. Evans spending quality time with his family, and soaking up the outdoors while snowboarding, wakeboarding, or longboarding. Most recently, he’s in the process of installing a disc golf course at Laveen’s local Cesar Chavez park.
