Sun Star Inc. is a custom manufacturing service provider, specializing in plastic injection molding, metal injection molding (MIM) and contract assembly jobs. Based in Latrobe, Pa., it serves the medical, automotive and electronic industries. The company offers precision molded components from thermoplastic materials, including high-temperature compounds and fluoropolymers. Sun Star Inc. manufactures MIM components using the BASF family of Catamold raw material feedstocks. Its secondary processes include machining, burnishing, passivation, heat treating, electropolishing and testing.
