Her post-doctoral training has been extensive in the field of clinical hypnosis, and she is able to utilize this technique along with other therapeutic interventions (including cognitive behavior therapy) as appropriate. She has additionally had long-standing interests in the culinary field and work with mind/body and habit change, and received both an Associates degree and other post-graduate certification in the culinary arts. She utilizes her psychological skills and her culinary training in doing pre-surgical evaluations of individuals intending to have bariatric (weight reduction) surgery.
