Virtual High School, governed by the Clark County School District, coordinates an online, distance education program for students in grades 9through 12. It also offers full- and part-time instruction to students. The school offers instruction through Blackboard, which is a learning management system. Virtual High School s courses are based on eText and supplemental online learning materials. Its curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies, and health and physical education. The school conducts classes in career and technical education to students. Virtual High School coordinates honors, advanced placement and international baccalaureate programs. Additionally, it provides career guidance counseling services to students.
