      Dr. Susun Michaels believes healthy skin is a glow from within. She treats the whole patient, not just a disease process. Every decision, treatment plan and recommendation is made with each patient’s best interests in mind. The focus on patients and their overall well-being cultivates a supportive, friendly environment where patients feel comfortable and confident with the care they receive. Dr. Michaels specializes in medical and surgical dermatology. In addition, she is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. She serves as the faculty supervisor of dermatology in the family medicine residency program at Valley Hospital Medical Center. She has published in several peer-reviewed dermatology journals and is an editorial advisor for the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology.
