We have seen over the last years a dramatic water shortage in the Lake Mead and Southern Nevada Water District placed specific restriction on our watering times. Due to the severe droughts in the Las Vegas valley, Desert and Water Smart landscapes have become more and more popular in the area. Combining rocks, with desert plants and trees beautiful landscapes of wide varieties. Landscaping does not always require plants, trees or grass to make a yard look beautiful. With little creativity, rock landscaping can create an amazing look for any residential front yard or in a commercial center. The variety of rocks and boulders that come in different shapes and colors, could create award winning landscape designs. The beauty of installing a rock landscaping in your front yard, does not end with the visual effects, but also means less maintenance and no daily watering. If you must include plants and trees, you can also choose desert plants and trees that will require minimum of water usage and will add more color to your landscape for a perfect earthy balance
