Don't send your daughters!

Have you ever dropped your daughter and her friends off at the mall for a few hours? I did this past weekend. My daughter needed to get the color replaced in her hair since it had come out. Since she was at the mall she figured she would get this done since it was supposed to be "free" and would not take much of her prescious time with friends. My daughter has had her hair done there twice. The third time on August 23, 2008, she went to get the color put back in that had come out. When she got there my daughter was told she would replace the color. She failed to notify my daughter that this would cost $65.00 since it had been longer than two weeks since her second appointment and do her roots first. The stylist conveniently notified my daughter of her charges after she had done the roots and was getting the purple set in her hair. When I inquired with the manager she said they often have trouble with teenagers and have to be very careful when they cut their hair since they often don't have the funds to pay for it. They expect clients to have money when they come in for services. I agreed with that, but they did not notify my daughter before services were rendered. After arguing with the manager, they offered a $10 discount. How generous! I feel they 'trapped' my child into services while I was not present. I was there at one point to pick her up but she was not yet finished. They could have caught me then. When I refused to pay for services, the manager yelled across the entire salon to "wash her hair and kick her out!!!" The entire salon watched. This was absolutely unprofessional and humiliating to my child. Too bad for Regis. I have four daughters and can go anywhere else!
