My expeience wih my foreclosure was handled timely. Yes, the closer you get to forecloser date is definitely nerve wrecking. However, loren was at my mediation before me plus he negotiated nearly $80,000 off my loan which wiped out my second. I was elated. I will agree, it is difficult to get a return call...I was going to have him take care of another situation, but no call back after numerous attempts & I have referred him to several of my friends, he has not called them back either...I don't know what the deal is...maybe too busy. I'm fortunate to have found him at the time I needed his expertise. He truly is trustworthy & won't nickel & dime you.

So far it's been a less than stellar performance. We have been in the process for over a year w/ Loren and no results yet. Lately we try to contact him about where we are in the process and we get no return calls or emails. We might have to find another lawyer after payIng out all our fees to him!

I'm a Realtor in Las Vegas, NV. Several of my clients had their homes listed in a SHORT SALE, with a OFFER & an open escrow. Banks are taking too long to answer, 5 to 10 mo. to send an APPROVAL LETTER. Some buyers back out. The sellers receive a Notice of Default & a Notice of Sale when NO payments are being made. Upon the NOS, there's a foreclosure date. I try to postpone the sale date. If the bank won't postpone the date, sometimes the seller must do a QUICK BANKRUPTCY. They call Loren Datlof. His fees are reasonable approx.$1,299. He has met them at 8:00 pm the night before a foreclosure. HE STOPS THE FORECLOSURE BEFORE 10 am the next morning. Even 2 minutes before the sale. My clients continue the BK or may even remove the home from the BK, so we may continue with the SHORT SALE & still SELL the home. (Staying in the home much longer.) Loren is busy & takes a while to return calls, but worth calling. Email's the BEST. Call & email till he answers. He will HELP you.

An absolute crook, took our $3500.00 and won't return the calls and my mortgage company hasn't heard from him. Stay far far away from this crook! It has been over 4 months.
