The Girl Scouts of Frontier Council is a nonprofit organization that serves more than 8,000 youths and adults throughout southern Nevada. It conducts workshops on topics related to resume building, marketing and financial assistance. The organization also operates shops that sell handbooks, sweatshirts, uniforms, gift items and other supplies. It offers aquatic programs and day and resident camps for adults and children. The orgnization is supported by annual giving, foundation grants, corporate gifts and special events. The Girl Scouts of Frontier Council is a part of Girl Scouts of the USA, which is one of the premier leadership skill development organizations for girls. Founded in 1912, it serves more than 3.7 million girls worldwide. The Girl Scouts of Frontier Council maintains one of its locations in Las Vegas, Nevada
