Harrah s Operating Company maintains a wholly owned subsidiary, Harrah's Entertainment, which is one of the largest providers of branded casino entertainment in the world. In operation for more than 70 years, Harrah's Entertainment operates properties under the Caesars and Horseshoe brand names, as well as owns the London Clubs International family of casinos and World Series of Poker. It has a work force of over 85,000 employees and serves the gaming industry. The company works closely with suppliers, contractors and other vendors, including certified minority-owned, women-owned, disabled and disadvantaged business enterprises. Harrah's Entertainment administers mentoring, development and tuition reimbursement programs. It has been acquired by the affiliates of private equity firms that include TPG Capital and Apollo Global Management.
