I paid $150 for Alex to fix the broken foot pedal that controls the volume on my Hammond Organ in November 2016. I did this because I wanted to sell the organ, as I do not play. I did not check the work performed, but Alex told me that the pedal was fixed, so I gladly paid for the repair, in addition to a cleaning and overall check. He assured me that the organ was playing fine and in good condition. In the middle of May I had an interested party come to play the organ, but the volume was very loud, and the player of the organ was unable to adjust the volume because the foot pedal was broken, same as before Alex repaired it.I contacted Alex expecting him to come back and warranty his work and repair the pedal. Instead, he told me that he would have to charge me another $150 for a service call, and inspect the pedal, to see what was needed to repair it. I explained that I already paid for the repair, but he declined to warranty his work, claiming that I must have broken it since he repaired it. I explained that the organ was untouched since his repair visit, until the time someone wanted to play it to see how well it played and the sound. He was condescending and disrespectful to me, trying to convince me that the organ was old and that I should not expect it to perform like it was new. I just wanted my foot pedal to work, which is what I already paid for.Since I was unwilling to pay another $150 for a service call, just to find out how much he would charge to repair again the foot pedal, Alex began suggesting to me that I donate the organ in its present condition without a working foot pedal. I became impatient with his attitude and unwillingness to back up his work, and finally hung up on him while he was explaining why he could not come back without being paid for the service call again.I would never deal with this company or Alex, nor would I recommend his services to anyone else. I am a business man and have always guaranteed my work for the past 40 years. It seems that Alex does not want to back up his work, for unknown reasons. He did not care to keep me as a customer or certainly not want any referrals from me.Denis MurdockLas Vegas, NV
