When I lived in LC we used to frequent Nellie's along with La Posta over in Old Mesilla. The food here is very good, the staff is always friendly and the service is excellent. They also do take out so when the family wanted to get together but didn't want to travel to the restaurant we'd head over and get it to go.

I haven't lived there since 1996 and haven't visited since 2003 but the next time I pass through I might just stop by and get something to eat. You can't go wrong having a meal at this place.

One of the few # 1 Mexican Cafe's in the US. Best in TX!
