Dr. Ismael Lopez is a Las Cruces native who is board certified in OB/GYN. His current focus is on preventative gynecological care and gynecological surgery. He received his undergraduate education from New Mexico State University, and completed medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. He completed his residency at the Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, VA. He served as a Naval Medical Officer, achieving the rank of Commander, before returning to Las Cruces. Dr. Lopez is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. Dr. Lopez enjoys spending time with his wife Sally, three daughters, three step-sons, and 9 grandchildren.
