Central Elementary School, founded in 1949, is affiliated with the Las Cruces Public Schools. Located in Las Cruces, N.M., the school offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to more than 200 students in grades kindergarten through five. It offers various programs, including English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. Central Elementary School alos provides special education, reading, writing, spelling, computer education, technology and health education, inclusion and occupational therapy programs. The school s cocurricular programs include Boy Scout and Girl Scout, cheerleading, family adventure, flag football, basketball, newsletter committee, student council, tackle football and year book club.
