General Info

Sandra Butcher, MSN, NP-BC is a board-certified nurse practitioner who has spent over 20 years in general and acute care surgical specialties. She has been affiliated with UM Health-Sparrow and Michigan State University for the last 10 years, during which she has been directly involved in resident education as well as the provision of high quality patient care. Before coming to UM Health-Sparrow, Sandra graduated with honors from U of M Flint with a Masters in Nursing Science and obtained a Family Nurse Practitioner certification. She worked in the operating room and general surgery service at Owosso. Sandra is a member of professional organizations MICNP and ANCC. She is certified in ACLS, PALS and CNOR. Her outside interests include the newly evolving field of functional medicine and nutrition.
